Urgent help needed with a transaction

I have to be at the hospital in an hour but ill be back in 5 hr or soā€¦here is where I am stuckā€¦

xxooss@ubuntu:~/Desktop$ ./Agama*
bash: ./AgamaApp-0.1.6.2e-beta-linux-x64-installer.run: Permission denied
xxooss@ubuntu:~/Desktop$ sudo su -
[sudo] password for xxooss:
root@ubuntu:~# ./Agama*
-su: ./Agama*: No such file or directory
root@ubuntu:~# ./AgamaApp
-su: ./AgamaApp: No such file or directory
root@ubuntu:~# ./AgamaApp*
-su: ./AgamaApp*: No such file or directory
root@ubuntu:~# ./AgamaAgamaApp-0.1.6.2e-beta-linux-x64-installer.run
-su: ./AgamaAgamaApp-0.1.6.2e-beta-linux-x64-installer.run: No such file or directory
root@ubuntu:~# ./AgamaApp-0.1.6.2e-beta-linux-x64-installer.run
-su: ./AgamaApp-0.1.6.2e-beta-linux-x64-installer.run: No such file or directory
root@ubuntu:~# ls
root@ubuntu:~# cd
root@ubuntu:~# ./Agama*
-su: ./Agama*: No such file or directory
root@ubuntu:~# cd Desktop
-su: cd: Desktop: No such file or directory
root@ubuntu:~# Agama*
Agama*: command not found
root@ubuntu:~#

i moved it to the desktop thinking i could work with it easier. Seems I am no longer able to execute it though

xxooss@ubuntu:~$ ls
Desktop Downloads Music Public Videos
Documents examples.desktop Pictures Templates
xxooss@ubuntu:~$ cd Desktop
xxooss@ubuntu:~/Desktop$ ls
AgamaApp-0.1.6.2e-beta-linux-x64-installer.run
xxooss@ubuntu:~/Desktop$ ./Agama*
bash: ./AgamaApp-0.1.6.2e-beta-linux-x64-installer.run: Permission denied
xxooss@ubuntu:~/Desktop$ sudo su -
[sudo] password for xxooss:
root@ubuntu:~# ./Agama*
-su: ./Agama*: No such file or directory
root@ubuntu:~#

okā€¦what next?

lol

xxooss@ubuntu:~$ dir
Desktop Downloads Music Public Videos
Documents examples.desktop Pictures Templates
xxooss@ubuntu:~$ cd Downloads
xxooss@ubuntu:~/Downloads$ dir
AgamaApp-0.1.6.2e-beta-linux-x64-installer.run
xxooss@ubuntu:~/Downloads$

Down to the final stretch! Ok try this and it should be a winner:

xxooss@ubuntu:~/Desktop$ sudo su -
[sudo] password for xxooss:
root@ubuntu~# cd ~xxooss/Desktop
root@ubuntu:/home/xxooss/Desktop# chmod 755 Agama*
root@ubuntu:/home/xxooss/Desktop# ./Agama*

Let me know?

After install:

root@ubuntu:/home/xxooss/Desktop# exit
xxooss@ubuntu: Agama

(then magic happens)

Okie doki pokieā€¦I got it installed and it is downloading the blockchain and the addy it gave me is the same one!! yay So after the chain finishes my transaction should show up. Thanks for you patience with me and send me your btc addy or ltc either way so i can give you a little somethingā€¦you knowā€¦for the effort. I love Cadyshack

Yachtzee! Very good, very good indeed.

The great Rodney Dangerfield once said, and I must quote:
ā€œYeah, wanna make fourteen dollars the hard way?ā€
He would be proud! lol

No worries on the effort, itā€™s all good, I do what I do. But if youā€™d like to make a very small donation to the forum to help keep the lights on thatā€™s cool, peace! :v:

URL here:

Woot! itā€™s at 28 percent and still going! only had to restart twice then I upped the ram to 4gb and its ok. Well I must say you do what you do really well. I was in the tech support/customer satisfaction for years and you have the gift. I once walked a kindergarten teacher through replacing er motherboard and I thought I was goodā€¦you were able to convey in understandable verbage how to set up a virtual server, inside windows 10, install linux on it and have it do what it was supposed to do
what?

you are the :bomb:

Many thanks! Iā€™ve got a lot of really bizarre technical things trapped in my head. Not sure how they got there, itā€™s Googleā€™s fault! lol

:ok_hand:

Died out at 80 percentā€¦disk full. Made a new VM starting over. Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

These blockchains - what is the deal right? I mean, they just EAT disk space. Who came up with that idea anyways!? (totally joking) lolā€¦

Are we having fun yet? NOW I get the same javascript error in linux on the vmā€¦w t fā€¦ok ima send you the seed. lolā€¦how do I send a PM on this here forum deal? or shoot me an email to xxoossy@gmail and ill reply back with the seed from hell.

Yes, time to teach it a lesson lol.

No prob, Iā€™ll crank up an email to you. Incoming :beers:

:dankassnugs:

GOT IT!!!

See the email chain but omgoodness it let me export the wif key after deleting and reinstalling the VM without having to download the entire chain. Thanks againā€¦thanks so muchā€¦You have taught me so many new things I feel renewed! THANKS AGAIN!!!

I just read the e-mail, jackpot!

You are very welcome, glad you were ultimately able to teach that pesky wallet a lesson and move the bits outta there. :v:

It is strangeā€¦the only way to get it to generate the right address was to build a new VM and install it. If you turn it off or log out or close the wallet ā€¦when it starts back up that address is gone and the new one is there. I dont understand how they could have tied their algorithm to the ā€œload up the walletā€ process but they did. I am not sure if I jacked something up but in Linux it let me get the wif without downloading the chain.
:tada:

we got it though!

fake edit: that was kinda fun :champagne:

Reading this thread and cxop spends valuable time successfully helping out this 14$ Man compelled to donate.
After a few days trumping around and getting disgusted with following the real fake media news generator, this bit of happy ending story is what the doctorā€™s order for the weekend.
I will send a few lites next.
Thanks cxop, Keep it Goingā€¦! /nD

What is the email address I can use to send my donation, I thought your URL is good to use.
