XP 32 bit vs Newer 16 bit processing

I know this may seem to be an odd question but, I have an XP desktop box running an older but better graphics card. Would it be crazy to set up a mining process on this? Would it work or is the source code only going to work on new op’s? Where are specs for running mining source code? Would I generate greater return on time and energy using a new operating system? Thanks

I have no idea if it will work on such and old Operative System, maybe you could try with an also old miner.

However, PLEASE stop using Windows XP. You’ll get craacked some day.
Consider alternatives such as upgrading to new versions of Windows, or as upgrading to GNU/Linux alternatives like Debian or Trisquel.
