As we know Litecoin is known as digital silver because it follows the pattern of bitcoin. In some cases, this litecoin is better than other altcoins. Litecoin has faster speed and lower fees on its blockchain so it is suited for micro-purchases like gas and groceries. It is also one of the most stable coins in the market.

intensive than Bitcoin’s (SHA-256) algorithm. This was intended to make Litecoin’s mining
process more accessible to a broader range of users and discourage the concentration
of mining power.

Actually it is a protocol upgrade, that helps increase transaction capacity and solve certain security and scaling issues.
