Hi everyone. I’ve been doing a little bit of research to find the perfect litecoin wallet for me and I’ve seen a few that look really good on paper. I’ve not actually used any of them so I’m not 100% sure which to go for and would like your help. The features really important to me are security and ease of use on mobile. Here are the few I’ve seen:
1. Litecoin Core: I found this one on the projects tab of the official Litecoin website. Since I’m not trying to get scammed I figured that would be the safest place to check. But on the outside it looks a bit complex and doesn’t look very mobile friendly.
2. Trust Wallet: A quick google search for Litecoin wallets and this was recurrent on many lists I saw on google. It says it’s mobile first, easy to use and the interface looks good. Considering this one but would like to know what people that actually use it think about it.
3. Breet: A newer option that caught my attention because it lets you receive Litecoin and other crypto fast and automatically converts to cash if you want. It feels simple to use, especially for someone like me who does smaller or regular transactions.
4. Exodus: Exodus also looks really good overall. It looks like it works on both desktop and mobile, and the design is clean as well. Reminds me of Trust wallet. However, I noticed it’s not fully open-source. Now this doesn’t matter as much to me but I figured I might as well add it for people who prefer full transparency.
5. Atomic Wallet: It handles a bunch of different coins and even lets you stake some of them. It looks fine and works okay, but I’ve seen a few people complain about transaction delays lately, so I’m a bit cautious about that.
Right now, I’m leaning toward something light and simple to use on my phone but still secure enough for small Litecoin transactions. Most of the time, I’m not looking to store a huge amount for a long period. I’ll just use a hardware wallet for that. I’m looking for something easy and reliable for smaller, regular transactions.
So what wallets are you guys using? Would you say it’s smarter to just use Trust Wallet since it has been around for a while or something older and more niche like Litecoin core?
