Unable to broadcast transaction from a LTC Electrum wallet

Hello,
I’m unable to access my Electrum LTC wallet.
When I try to open my original wallet file trough Electrum, I receive the error that the wallet is corrupted.

I’ve tried restoring it with both the seed, and the master key but at that point I just get a brand new wallet without any funds.

When I open the wallet file, there are funds on the wallet.

I’m unable to move any funds as the wallet file has been corrupted.

The wallet itself is a bit older, and was generated with BIP39 seed

->m/84’/2’/0’
->Native SegWit (p2wpkh)

Does anyone know what might be going on?

I’ve also tried broadcasting the transaction via CMD from my own PC, however I had no luck with that either.

Don’t you have the seed? If yes, then try creating a new wallet using the seed phrase (do not delete old wallet file). If you have not saved the seed, possibly importing the private keys of the addresses (having balances) from old wallet into newer wallet should work.

Try scanning for the derivation path instead of using native segwit. Cause if it really is older, then it’s probably not a native segwit wallet.

Restores as a brand new wallet, the seed which I have does not match the file

I’ve checked it, here’s what I can find here:ž

Keystore type: bip32

Seed available: True (segwit)

script file p2wpkh

Lightning : Enabled, non-recoverable channels

It sounds like a wallet file corruption issue. Try restoring with your seed in a different Electrum-LTC version or use a BIP39-compatible wallet. If funds show but can’t move, check transaction history or seek Electrum support.

Don’t you need ETH to use the ETH chain?

It seems like you’re dealing with a pretty tricky situation involving a corrupted wallet file. Based on the information you’ve shared, it might be worth trying a few things. First, as Anigaits suggested, try restoring the wallet using a different version of Electrum-LTC or a BIP39-compatible wallet. Sometimes compatibility issues with wallet versions can cause such errors.

If you’re still unable to access your funds, and you know the seed phrase, you can try importing your private keys into a new wallet. This should help in accessing your funds without the need to restore the entire wallet. If you can see your funds but can’t move them, it’s possible that the wallet’s transaction history is corrupted. In that case, Electrum support might be able to help you resolve it further.

Let me know if you need any more specific guidance!
