Are there any developers here also interested in a MWEB integration written in Rust? While I don’t care to re-implement Bulletproofs, being happy to leave that to C bindings, I’d be very happy if the wallet functionality had a Rust implementation available.
I’ve recently worked on a Monero library in Rust, and have been eyeing Litecoin a bit. While I’d mainly be interested in MWEB for its privacy component, I will say I have a more personal prioritization for efficient multisig, which Taproot alone offers and would simply allow me to reuse Bitcoin code accordingly. The downside there would be the lack of privacy + not contributing to MWEB adoption, hence why I was curious if any other developers were interested in putting forth an effort here.
