Hi, in particular I’m wondering if an amd rx580 and rx 470 are still viable for mining? anyone know the hash rates these cards can generate w/litecoin miners?

Litecoin has upgraded to ASIC a long time ago. You may want to try your GPUs with Ethereum and clones.
With RX580 you will definitely want to mine ethereum. If you want to go a bit higher get the 1080ti and mine zcash but keep in mind that 1080ti are not good for mining ethereum. Good luck !

my 750Ti earns .001 LTC per day and I mined at a loss for a year…but I profited from the price increase so it turned out to be profitable even though I lost for a year…I got it all back and then some…
