I had the Litecoin wallet on my desktop but desktop it was stolen how do I recover my lite coins I have private keys and I downloaded the wallet again

if you have the private keys then you should be able to import them into your new walket.
Both QT and electrum-ltc give you such option
when you say you have the private keys…do you mean you have a copy of your core backup or you have a text copy of your private keys?
text versions of the private keys can be imported into any wallet
backups can most of the time only be used on the program that created the backup
like core…you would place the backup in place of the wallet.dat file in the appdata folder (if using windows) and rename it wallet.dat then restart the wallet…
