Coinbase currently withholding funds form users! Beware of coinbase...do not use

I have been trying to get a hold of coinbase support for over 48 hours. I submit a withdraw of 0.02 BTC and suddenly…even though I have been using the platform for years…
they want id verification for the 10th time…
so I do it…
now the withdraw is on hold…
my account is locked…
I cant log in
and their damn phone support just hangs up no matter what option you choose…
I just knew it

BEWARE…DO NOT USE COINBASE FOR ANYTHING…THEY WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY…THEY HAVE WITHHELD OVER $400 USD FROM ME ON MORE THAN 1 OCCASION AND HAVE STOLEN OVER $45 USD WORTH OF VARIOUS ALTCOINS I HAVE SENT TO THE ACCOUNT AND REFUSE TO RECOVER ANYTHING…
This time I am filing fraud…

I have tried over and over again all day…the phone support does not work any more…it just tells me that the agents are busy with a high call volume and to file a ticket online…which I did repeatedly…

You also did the regular ticket issue as well?

I’d do another of those again for the heck of it.

Weird, unless volume is so high as to be a concern and the price dumping with BTC it would be

‘convenient’ to have the voice phone stuff suddenly got awry

Also, it took me more than TWO WEEKS to get verified by them so if you had to re-verify…that may be

the main issue…they need an actual human to look at your re-done application…

Anyway, on reflection I bet it is the re-apply with the license/picture in same photo KYC stuff…that needs

a human to look at it.

I did a ticket just like they instructed me to. I followed every instruction to the T.
Still no help from anyone at coinbase…

figured out…I actually had to lock my account and then unlock it with the automated id verification…

Now suddenly my account will be unlocked within 72 hours…

and still nothing from coinbase…these are all automated replies…that when I try to reply with a email back…it cant be delivered…

This is the first time I have ever had to provide ID to send bitcoin
only ever had to do it for USD transfers in the past…
Coinbase is acting in true centralization as they are one of the number one exchanges online…
This is nothing but a huge privacy leak…
So I basically recovered my account myself…
I will be canceling my account for good once it is recovered as I am not participating in their centralization…

I just submitted over 93 tickets to their “support team”
and every single reply is automated…
I changed up the messages and problems with the account…
yeah I got the “thank you for submitting a ticket” response…
then I got the same exact response to every message…
“looks like your id upload was successful and it take up to 72 hours”…
but its been over 96 hours now…and the account wants a 4th id verify…
They must be going out of business or something…that’s the only thing that makes any sense
I know they lost any future business form me because of this…

Account finally recovered…
then I had to do another id verify after trying to send bitcoin…
finally got the damn thing to send me my coins…
I have officially closed my coinbase account for good…

I wonder if gemni is any better? This whole KYC thing can really muck you up with all the KYC bots etc out there to ‘verify’ stuff on KYC exchanges

also been awhile since i used voice on coinbase good to know that may be f*cked now and not as good as in the past

Im using Kraken right now and loving it…gemini wouldnt give me an account because I live in the US…

gemini should give you an account if you are in the usa…? confused?

I’m still having no issues with coinbase…but then i mainly buy only dust now
