The next big litecoin feature is called mimblewimble. In a layman’s terms: it allows you to hide the amount of litecoin you are sending, which is otherwise viewable via the blockchain. This increases privacy and fungibility.

I believe not, since it is a side chain that is opt in there is no mandatory privacy function

Hi LatinSlovka, could you please help to understand the side chain, is it something like a fork and LTC will be different and this sidechain with mimbewimble will be different?
