Hi folks, Viktor from Bison Trails here. I’m trying to figure out the smallest possible valid transaction accepted by the Litecoin network. On Bitcoin, the dust limit is 546 sats, anything smaller gets rejected. What is the limit on Litecoin? Thank you so much for your help!
If I’m not mistaken, then LTC follows BTC’s logic.
The -mintxfee was lowered in version 0.18.1 to 0.0001 LTC/kB .
This would result in a dust limit: 0.0000546 LTC.
In earlier versions the numbers are 10 times larger, though. I’m not sure how those two work together in the network…
