Move litecoin core wallet to new computer

Is it possible to move litecoin core wallet to a new computer? If so, how?

Yes, it is.

  1. Backup your wallet.dat file

  2. Install litecoin-core on your new computer

  3. Start litecoin-core on your new computer and locate the newly created (thus empty) wallet.dat file

  4. Close litecoin-core on the new computer

  5. Replace new (empy) wallet.dat with the backup from step 1.

  6. Start litecoin-core and let it sync.
