I have my litecoin wallet with 3 bitcoins but it tells me that my password is bad and I can not get them out

I have the wallet.dat and the password but it tells me that it is not correct someone knows how to recover it?

if you want to try your self…download “John The Ripper” and extract your password hash from the backup using bitcoin2john.py
then use john the ripper and your password with word mangling rules to see if you spelled it wrong or used a capital letter or numbers at the end…
