Hi guys,
Was trying to setup a local Litecoin daemon for testing & learning purposes. I’ve followed this how to: Compiling the Litecoin daemon from source on Debian - Litecoin Wiki, but apparently it is not up-to-date (makefile.unix does not exist anymore and Makefile.am is not accepted by my compiler).
Can someone please update it or atleast post here the guide?
The wiki is not up to date. For complete information of how to build follow: litecoin/doc at master · litecoin-project/litecoin · GitHub under building for your specific OS. If things fall appart, search in issue, your problem and solutions are already there.
What database are you planning to use? We use a database by this database solutions company and it works great. We haven’t tinkered with other databases connected to Linux, but this one is compatible with a lot of other solutions, this is why we decided to give it a try.
